The A.D. Henderson Foundation makes grants to 501(c)(3) designated nonprofit organizations and public entities in Broward County, Florida and Vermont.In Florida, the Foundation supports high quality early care and education for children ages 0-5.In Vermont, the Foundation supports:* High quality early care and education for children ages 0-5; and* Capacity building for the nonprofit sector, with a focus on mentoring and early learning.Applicants MUST contact a Foundation Program Director PRIOR to a formal submission to discuss their project/program idea. If the idea is a potential match with the Foundation’s funding priorities, the Program Director will meet with the applicant to discuss the project/program.Typically, the Program Director will work with the applicant to prepare a proposal and will provide the applicant with the required application materials. The complete application can be submitted electronically and will include the Application Form, Proposal (not to exceed three pages), the Project Budget, your IRS tax exempt status letter (no more than 5 years old), and other required documentation.The applicant should plan six months in advance of when funds will be needed to implement the project/program. 4/23/2020
