Non Federal entities (as defined in 2 CFR §200.69) who have DUNS numbers and are registered in System for Award Management (SAM) are eligible to apply: Institutions of higher education (2 CFR §200.54), Local governments (2 CFR §200.64), and Nonprofit organizations (2 CFR §200.70).
AmeriCorps grants are awarded to organizations proposing to engage AmeriCorps members in evidence based or evidence informed interventions to strengthen communities. AmeriCorps is a strong network of local programs connecting over 70,000 Americans in intensive service to meet critical, community identified needs in disaster services, economic opportunity, education, environmental stewardship, healthy futures, and veterans and military families.
