The Animal Assistance Foundation is accepting applications from organizations to support projects or programs that enhance the five freedoms for companion animals in Colorado.
Donor Name: Animal Assistance Foundation
State: Colorado
County: All Counties
Type of Grant: Grant
Deadline: 09/30/2023
Details:
Capital grants are awarded through a highly competitive and intensive vetting process. Organizations seeking funds for capital improvements must serve a wide cross-section of the community, have a thorough understanding of their role in the local community and be aligned with and committed to the mission, vision and values of Animal Assistance Foundation.
The intent of capital funding is to support projects focused on improving the quality of life for shelter animals, providing expanded services to the local community and improving the ability of an organization to impact and benefit animals and humans in the community.
Due to the high volume of inquiries received for a limited number of funding opportunities, few organizations will be invited to submit full proposals and of those applicants only a small percentage will be awarded funds.
Goals

Strengthen and support organizations that highly impact animal welfare and benefit both animals and humans in their community.
Invest in long-term animal welfare solutions for Colorado communities in deep and lasting ways.
Partner with organizations who are strongly committed to the five freedoms.
Increase sustainability of the organizations in the industry and the communities.
