The Animal League of Birmingham is a 501(c)(3) organization raising fund for non-profit rescues and shelters in Birmingham and the surrounding area who support the health, welfare, and general well being of animals in need.Requests must be made on the non-profit’s letterhead and include the following:A brief description of the requesting organization, which must be a 501(c)(3);A copy of the organization’s determination letter from the IRS;A copy of said organization’s current 990 or financial report;A brief description of why funding is being requested; andAn estimate or bill from the veterinarian (on letterhead and signed by the veterinarian).Funding requests are considered on a monthly basis and must be submitted before the first day of the month to be considered at the next meeting. 4/5/2021
