The Arkansas Humanities Council requests applications for planning. The council believes in the value of good planning and wants to assist groups that are collaborating with humanities scholars to develop humanities projects. Since there are sometimes expenses for planning the council offers mini grants for planning activities. A planning process supported by a council planning grant must result in a written plan. After the planning is completed a recipient of a planning minigrant is normally expected to submit an application for a major grant to conduct the proposed project.
