The Arkansas Humanities Council requests grants for research projects. Research projects involve individual or collaborative humanities research on topics in Arkansas prehistory history and culture. The results of research supported by the council must be of interest or of value to Arkansas audiences outside the academic community as well as within it. The proposal should indicate how the results of the research will be presented to appropriate audiences during or after the grant period. Research grant funds may not be used for book publication.
