The Bonfils-Stanton Foundation is pleased to announce the Capital Grants Program.
Donor Name: Bonfils-Stanton Foundation
State: Colorado
County: Arapahoe County (CO), Adams County (CO) and Jefferson County (CO)
City: Denver
Type of Grant: Grant
Deadline: 11/10/2023
Grant Duration: 12 months
Details:
Grants for capital projects are generally considered for organizations with which the Foundation has an established relationship. To allow for more community-focused and opportunistic grantmaking capacity the Foundation is unlikely to fund significant capital gifts for the largest cultural organizations with operating budgets typically over $5 million. Priority consideration will be given to those projects that are intentional about serving multiple organizations, that serve diverse communities, allow for more equitable access, support live/work spaces for artists, and help fill a critical gap in the arts & culture ecosystem.
Eligibility Criteria
501 (c) 3 nonprofit arts & culture organization
Mission is focused on producing and presenting the arts for the public
Based in the city of Denver and deliver the majority of your programs in Denver
Minimum of 3 years consistent public arts & culture programming
Organization has an annual operating budget of at least $50,000 and have paid staffing equivalent to .5FTE or greater
Strong understanding of and clear plan for implementing DEI practices
If an organization is informed by, majority led by and serving BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and/or Disability communities, the Foundation may make geographic exceptions to include adjacent Arapahoe, Adams and Jefferson counties.
