The Chisholm Foundation supports education, the arts, and religious endeavors. The foundation welcomes an opportunity to consider special projects, especially demonstration or seed projects, which can be continued with support from an organization’s operating budget or other funding sources beyond the grant period. Matching gifts or challenge grants are often pursued as a means of leveraging the foundation’s effort.The Foundation has no specific application form or fixed proposal format. Interested applicants should submit the following information in their proposals: a brief summary of the proposed project including a brief description of the submitting organization, the project budget and schedule, the amount requested from the Chisholm Foundation, other current funders (if any) of the project and any other pending proposals, a copy of the submitting organization’s IRS tax exemption letter, and brochures or other published material pertaining to the project or the organization.Letters of inquiry are accepted at any time. Applications are reviewed twice a year and grants are made in May and November. 5/27
