Cisco awards Global Impact Cash Grants to US-based and non-US based non-profit organizations around the globe, with national or multinational operations.Cisco's overall approach is to partner with non-profit organizations to identify, incubate, and develop innovative solutions that solve challenging socioeconomic conditions in at least one of the investment areas: critical human needs, access to education, and economic empowerment. In order to maximize the impact of investment, Cisco supports programs that fit within these investment areas, serve the underserved, and leverage technology solutions to improve the reach, efficiency, and impact of services. Programs must also have high potential for replication and scale in multiple environments, and a clear path for long-term sustainability.Be sure to review the guidelines very carefully to see if your program fits within the specific focus areas, and if your organization is eligible. For example, Cisco funds education delivery models for STEM, but does not fund schools directly. U.S. organizations must provide evidence that the IRS has recognized them as tax exempt under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3), AND has classified them as a public charity.Cisco accepts unsolicited applications to the Global Impact Cash Grant program. The application process is open year-round. 3/22
