The D.A.S. Charitable Fund for the Preservation of Feline Animal Life accepts applications from organizations that preserve and advance animal life in Lake County. Interest areas include facilitating symbiotic relationships between humans and animals, research initiatives, overpopulation prevention, and animal rehabilitation. Projects eligible for funding include, but are not limited to: spaying and neutering of companion animals providing companion animals for the disabled hippotherapy - therapy through horseback riding for disabled individuals wild animal rehabilitation police canine units animal habitat studies and re-introduction of endangered species Interested applicants should provide a 501(c)(3) determination letter from the IRS, as well as a written statement of the desired outcome of the proposed grant and the details of the funding request as to budget, etc. There is no application ; inquiries may be submitted at any time. 5/19
