The El-Hibri Foundation supports peace education and inter-religious cooperation through grants to promising groups, awards that recognize leadership, and programs that promote learning and bridge-building. In addition, the foundation, which is based in Washington, D.C., continues the El-Hibri family's charitable tradition of supporting orphans in the Middle East, particularly in Lebanon.Inquiries for funding are currently being accepted.The Foundation supports activities in following three categories:Advancing Inclusion: Implementing initiatives and programs to advance inclusion of American Muslim communities and promote inclusive societal norms.Building Capacity: Equipping leaders and organizations with the training, skills, and approaches needed to maximize their organizational impact and reach high performance.Organizing Communities: Catalyzing collaboration and collective action, and building coalitions and inclusive partnerships that strengthen civil society.To be eligible, all applicants must be publicly funded, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations registered in the United States. EHF does not provide support to individuals, except through its annual Peace Education Prize and Scholarships.The Foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals. However, if you believe your organization’s work is consistent with the Foundation’s strategy and approach, you may submit a short pitch as a means of letting the Foundation staff know about your activities. If they are interested in learning more, they will contact your organization.Upon review, selected applicants may be invited to submit full proposals. 4/21
