Nonprofit organizations often have an abundance of marketing goals, but not enough funding to accomplish every objective. As a way to thank area non-profits for their contributions to the community, Greenleaf Media developed a non-profit grants program in 2010. Greenleaf Grants offers funding to Wisconsin non-profits and community organizations to enhance their visibility and assist in accomplishing marketing, web and outreach objectives.Greenleaf Grants help fill gaps in funding and provide in-kind services for eligible branding, marketing and web projects. Goals of the project should be specific and should promote a nonprofit organization. Grant-covered services include:Branding (logo, tagline, copywriting, identity)Graphic Design (brochures, reports, collateral materials)Website Design and Development (CMS, responsive design)Eligible nonprofits must be a 501(c)(3) organization based in Wisconsin. The proposed project must serve to enrich the community.Greenleaf Media requires that each organization contribute at least 50% of the overall project funding. Greenleaf Grants are intended to cover funding gaps rather than fund projects outright. Approved funding depends on timing, funds available and need. Typical grant approvals will cover 15-50% of total project funding. This approach to funding enables Greenleaf Grants to support more area non-profits annually.Groups are encouraged to submit applications as early as possible. Funding is provided on a first come, first serve basis and generally runs out mid-year. However, applications are accepted any time of the year.
