For the purpose of this RFI/SSN, an eligible entity includes but is not limited to individuals, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and private sector organizations that meet all of the following criteria:1. Have access to and experience with working in northwest Syria; 2. Have not received more than $5 million (USD) directly (as the prime) from USAID in the previous five fiscal years; and 3. Demonstrate fluency in Arabic and/or the ability to deliver materials in Arabic.

Please note that the English version of this notice is the governing version, and the translations into Arabic and Kurdish are provided as a courtesy. The United States Agency for International Developments (USAIDs) Syria Program is exploring the landscape of local actors with experience in providing strategic fundraising and local capacity strengthening support services in northwest Syria. This information will inform potential forthcoming activities with local organizations as part of USAID Syrias Local Works program. This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice (SSN) seeks information on the availability, interest, and diverse capacities of entities to support prospective strategic fundraising and local capacity strengthening efforts for local organizations in northwest Syria. This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is not a funding opportunity but serves for planning purposes. Interested parties should submit responses by November 25, 2023, to syriasolicitations@usaid.gov.
