The Rescue Bank® Pet Food Distribution Program supports the pet rescue community with a network of regional affiliates – pet food distribution centers. These centers receive truckload donations scheduled by Rescue Bank® and distribute pallet quantities to qualified groups.The Pet Food Distribution Program allows rescue organizations to transfer part of their food budget to much needed services such as spay/neuter or other medical bills.Any 501(c)(3) pet rescue organization or community service organization engaged in pet retention is eligible to apply. Your organization must also meet the standards set by Rescue Bank® based on the organization type.Interested applicants must first apply to become an eligible recipient. Once you are a pre-approved recipient, you will receive email notifications about the distribution events available in your region.If you would like to be included in a distribution event, you should reply to the notification by submitting a Request for Distribution. If you qualify to receive a distribution, you will be invited to the regional distribution center for the distribution event where you can come and pick up the food. You will be notified about when and where the distribution event will take place as well as the shipping costs that your organization will be required to reimburse the distribution center.Funding is available All. 10/29 - be aware that their website has been updated.
