Finley River Affiliate Grantmaking Program FY25
This program provides funding to nonprofit organizations and other eligible entities serving the eastern Christian County area in Missouri to address pressing community needs.
The Finley River Affiliate Grantmaking Program for Fiscal Year 2025 is accepting submissions from March 1, 2025, through March 31, 2025. This grant program is administered by the Finley River Community Foundation, which aims to improve the quality of life for individuals in the Finley River area through strategic grantmaking and community leadership. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors with strong knowledge of the local community, and the grant decisions are made by a designated grant committee. The program provides flexible grant funding to address the most pressing and important needs of the community at any given time. This flexibility is made possible through charitable donors who have established unrestricted or field-of-interest funds, entrusting decision-making to the community leaders serving on the Board of Directors. Additionally, dollars raised by the Finley River Community Foundation further support these grants. Eligible applicants include 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and other IRS-approved entities such as government entities, school districts, and churches. To qualify, applicants must serve the eastern Christian County area in Missouri. Programs and projects that directly benefit this geographic region are encouraged to apply. The maximum request amount for this grant cycle is $2,500. Applications must be submitted by 11:45 p.m. on March 31, 2025. All applications must be completed through the Foundation’s grant application system, which uses a character count for all grant questions. This count includes letters, numbers, spaces, and punctuation. The Finley River Community Foundation, as an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO), adheres to a strict nondiscrimination policy in awarding grants. Grantees must also comply with nondiscrimination practices in both employment and service delivery when using CFO funds. This ensures that no discrimination occurs based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status.
