Grant Name: Nevada Humanities Project Grants Donor: Nevada Humanities State: Nevada County: All Counties Type of Grant: Major Project Grants, Mini-Grants, Planning Grants Deadline: - Major Project Grants: 09/01/2023 - Mini-Grants and Planning Grants: 30/07/2024 Grant Amounts: - Major Project Grants: Up to $7,500 - Mini-Grants: Up to $2,000 - Planning Grants: Up to $1,000 Grant Duration: 1 year (November 1, 2023 – October 31, 2024) Eligibility Criteria: 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, government entities (local and tribal governments, museums, libraries), educational institutions, and other nonprofit or governmental humanities organizations within or serving Nevadans. No grants awarded to individuals. Applicants must have an active federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) and a SAM Unique Entity ID number. Details: Nevada Humanities supports public programs statewide that articulate the Nevada experience and explore issues important to Nevadans. Projects may include media programs, exhibitions, forums, workshops, research projects with public components, publications, educational initiatives and programs. Emphasis on engaging diverse audiences and participants. Strongly encourages partnerships using humanities to include diverse groups of people and bridge different fields of inquiry. Service as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and government entities such as local and tribal governments, museums, libraries, educational institutions, and other nonprofit or governmental humanities organizations. Grant awards will not be made to individuals. Applicants and their projects must either be located within the geographic boundary of the State of Nevada or engage in activities that are about or directly serve Nevadans. All applicants must provide an active and valid federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) and an active and current SAM Unique Entity ID number when submitting their applications. They no longer accept organization DUNS numbers with applications.
