Harrison County Community Foundation Grant 2025

The Harrison County Community Foundation, in collaboration with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), offers annual grant opportunities aimed at supporting nonprofit organizations, public institutions, and schools that serve the residents and communities of Harrison County, Ohio. These grants reflect the foundation’s broader mission of fostering development and uplifting communities throughout Appalachian Ohio by supporting impactful and community-centric projects. For the 2025 grant cycle, the Harrison County Community Foundation is accepting applications from Tuesday, April 29, through Tuesday, June 10. The grants are designed to advance initiatives within five core funding areas: arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services. These areas are selected to cover a broad spectrum of community needs, with particular emphasis on enabling individuals of all ages to spearhead innovative projects that create meaningful opportunities, address urgent challenges, and unlock local potential. The recommended range for funding requests is between $500 and $5,000. However, applications requesting larger amounts may be considered if the proposal demonstrates a high potential impact. The foundation encourages applicants to align their proposals with the outlined focus areas to enhance the strength and relevance of their submissions. To streamline the application process, FAO has implemented a new digital platform, the Foundation Cloud Community Portal. All applicants are required to register and create an account on this portal to access the application. Those who have registered or applied since fall 2024 can reuse their existing account.
