Consideration may be given to training for strategic planning, reorganization, leadership development of staff and/or board members, and any other activities that will strengthen the nonprofit’s ability to carry out their mission. Eligibility Criteria  The Community Foundation Distribution Committee will award grants based on the following criteria: The applicant must be in a paid or volunteer leadership position for a qualified charity 501(c)(3) as the Executive Director or in a position that could lead to promotion to Executive Director or Board Chair. Financial need of the organization and/or the financial need of the individual may be considered. College courses, certification programs or professional conferences in finance, fundraising, human resources or other skills are eligible for grants. Travel and lodging costs may be covered.
