2025 Taney County Grantmaking Program

The Community Foundation of Taney County is currently accepting applications for its FY25 Grantmaking Program, which aims to enhance the quality of life for residents of Taney County, Missouri. The Foundation operates under the governance of a Board of Directors with deep knowledge of the region and its needs. Grant funding decisions are made by a designated grant committee comprised of community leaders. This grantmaking program emphasizes flexibility to respond to the most pressing community needs at any given time. This is made possible through unrestricted and field-of-interest funds established by generous donors, as well as additional fundraising conducted by the Community Foundation. The Foundation's model enables targeted community investment without being tied to a single cause or issue area, allowing support to be directed where it is most needed. For the FY25 cycle, grant proposals are being accepted between April 1 and April 30, 2025. The application deadline is 11:45 p.m. on April 30, 2025. Applicants must be either 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or other IRS-approved entities, including government agencies, school districts, and churches. All applicants must serve the residents of Taney County to be eligible for funding. Each applicant may request up to $5,000 in funding during this cycle. All applications must adhere to the online grant system's formatting, which includes a strict character count that encompasses letters, numbers, spaces, and punctuation across all questions.
