The City of Deltona is excited to announce the 2024-2025 CDBG for Public Services. Donor Name: City of Deltona State: Florida City: Deltona Type of Grant: Grant Deadline: 05/13/2024 Size of the Grant: $100,000 to $500,000 Grant Duration: 1 Year Details: City of Deltona (City) anticipates receiving funding from the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) to implement activities to benefit low- and moderate-income families and persons. The anticipated allocation is approximately $500,000.00 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for Federal Fiscal Program Year 2024, which encompasses the period from October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025. The City, in accordance with Federal regulations, can designate up to 15% of these funds for eligible public service activities. Proposals are now being solicited for projects that may be implemented either by the City through contracted services with non-profit agencies or other public service organizations. All agencies are required to make an application with the City of Deltona. Eligible Public Service Activities Funding for public services is reserved for a business or agency providing verified services for income eligible Deltona residents. All funding requests must be either for a new service or a quantifiable increase in the current level of service.
