Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program
This program provides financial support and consulting services to help BIPOC and low-income creative entrepreneurs in Pennsylvania start or grow their micro businesses.
The Creative Entrepreneur Accelerator Program was created in 2021 to provide creative entrepreneurs with access to small business consulting services and financial resources. The program aims to help these entrepreneurs start or grow their for-profit micro businesses, increase their audience, and boost their revenue. Prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion, it focuses on supporting BIPOC entrepreneurs and those in low-income communities. Eligible applicants must be Pennsylvania residents for at least one year, aged 18 or older, and have a business with gross revenue under $200,000. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through an online portal, with funding amounts ranging from $500 to $2,000. Before formally applying, eligible entrepreneurs must engage in a consultation with a designated Referral Coordinator from a PPA Partner. The coordinator will confirm the applicant's business planning, which may include various forms of business documentation or workshop participation. The coordinator then submits a referral form to the PPA Partner. Referral does not guarantee funding; the PPA Partner determines eligibility and fund availability.
