Grant Description

The U.S. Embassy in Finland’s Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) invites proposals that promote bilateral cooperation, shared values, and engagement in priority areas. These include fostering economic prosperity and entrepreneurship with a focus on technology and innovation, addressing global security challenges related to Finland’s NATO integration (including Women, Peace, and Security initiatives), advancing youth, academic, and professional exchange programs, and supporting Arctic and High North collaboration. Funding is available for programs that align with these priorities but excludes partisan political activities, charity or development work, construction, fundraising, lobbying, institutional development, personal career development, subawards to implementors, or programs targeting audiences below upper secondary/high school level. For-profit entities and artist residencies are also ineligible. The program adheres to U.S. federal anti-discrimination laws and prohibits funding for initiatives that violate Executive Order 14173.
