The total available funding for the program is $500,000, with a single award ranging between $200,000 and $500,000. Eligible applicants must submit their applications between October 1, 2024, and December 2, 2024, by 5:00 PM CST. The grant does not require cost-sharing or matching funds, and indirect costs are permitted without restrictions. To be eligible, applicants must pre-qualify through the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) system. The program does not include a scheduled technical assistance session, but applicants can reach out to John Barr at john.w.barr@illinois.gov for more information.
