Green Fertilizer Grant Program 2025

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s Green Fertilizer Grant Program provides funding for agricultural and rural electric cooperatives to invest in green fertilizer production facilities in Minnesota. Approximately $6.665 million is available for funding, with individual awards ranging from $250,000 to the total available amount. Each facility requires a separate application, and a minimum 50% matching investment is mandatory, which may include cash or in-kind contributions. Applications must be submitted by 4 p.m. Central Time on March 18, 2025, through an online portal.
