Grant Description

The Granting Pink program, operated by Thriving Pink, provides financial grants to support breast cancer patients in Yolo County, California. Dedicated to helping individuals navigate their breast cancer journey, the program offers funding to meet essential needs that arise during treatment, including medical expenses, prescriptions, counseling, wellness programs, housing, groceries, and transportation. Since its inception in 2017, Granting Pink has awarded over $301,300 to more than 220 individuals. To be eligible, applicants must have a breast cancer diagnosis, reside in Yolo County, and not have previously received a grant from Thriving Pink. Community members can also nominate someone with breast cancer to receive this support. Applications are evaluated by the Granting Pink Committee based on the applicant’s diagnosis, treatment plan, financial need, and any special circumstances. For the 2025 funding cycle, applicants may complete their forms either online via Google Forms or by downloading a PDF in English or Spanish. Questions can be directed to info@thrivingpink.org. Thriving Pink’s work relies on the support of its dedicated team, community donors, and partners who contribute to the health and resilience of local breast cancer survivors.
