League of American Bicyclists’ Community Spark Grants 2025
This grant provides $2,000 mini-grants to grassroots organizations and local leaders working to improve bicycling safety, accessibility, and inclusivity in their communities.
The League’s Bicycle Friendly America program offers Community Spark Grants to support grassroots changemakers and organizations working to make bicycling safer, easier, and more accessible. These grants aim to foster Bicycle Friendly Communities by empowering local leaders, creating inclusive coalitions, and addressing community-specific issues through innovative projects. Since its inception in 2022, the program has provided $2,000 mini-grants to support small-scale projects that catalyze meaningful change in local communities. For the 2025 grant cycle, 10 awards will be funded through support from General Motors (GM). Five grants will be directed to GM Facility Communities, while the other five will be available nationwide, with a focus on projects that meet the program's new Equity & Accessibility criteria. The grants are designed to uplift communities and facilitate collaboration among diverse stakeholders, sparking initiatives that advance the League’s vision for Bicycle Friendly Communities. Further details about the application process and eligibility will be available through the League's newsletter and website. Interested organizations are encouraged to subscribe to updates to stay informed about the 2025 grant cycle.
