Foster Youth Network

The Texas Foster Youth Network grant aims to establish a statewide network of various agencies and organizations to provide services that remove employment barriers and support the successful transition into adulthood for Foster Youth, through the sharing of referrals and service information.

The Texas Foster Youth Network (TXFYN) will be a statewide network comprised of state agencies (for example, DFPS, CBOs, Local Workforce Development Boards (Boards), non-profits, and public entities that support Foster Youth by providing services necessary to eliminate barriers to employment and promote successful transition into adulthood. The TXFYN will facilitate the sharing of Referrals and service information, fostering seamless continuity of services among providers and across the state. These Referrals will complement the array of services already available to Foster Youth in Texas.
