2024-2025 Inspire Giving Opportunity Fund
This grant provides financial and volunteer support to nonprofit organizations in the Sacramento area that focus on youth development and promote diversity, equity, and community empowerment.
The Inspire Giving Grant offers up to $10,000 in monetary support, in-kind services, and/or volunteer assistance to support youth development initiatives within the Sacramento region. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) nonprofits with a focus on improving quality of life, empowering residents, supporting affordable housing, stimulating the economy, or driving economic progress. The Sacramento Metro Chamber Foundation prioritizes applications demonstrating a commitment to Diversity, Inclusion, Equity, and Belonging (DIEB), with clear plans for fostering a diverse and equitable environment within their programs. To qualify, organizations must operate within Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer, Sutter, Yolo, or Yuba counties, and have at least two years of operational history with an annual budget exceeding $250,000. Previously funded organizations are ineligible if they received grants from Inspire Giving or participated in the Leadership Sacramento project since 2016. For fiscally sponsored applicants, both the applicant and sponsor must meet operational history and budget requirements. Only Letters of Interest (LOIs) are required for submission, detailing specific needs for funding, in-kind services, or volunteer support. LOIs must be submitted through the online application system. For further details, applicants may contact sfox@metrochamber.org with eligibility inquiries.
