Grant Description

Program: The Dane G. Hansen Foundation, in partnership with the Greater Salina Community Foundation and the Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation, is offering grant opportunities to improve the quality of life for communities in north-central and northwest Kansas. The grants will be distributed through a competitive application process. Funder: The grants are funded by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation and administered by the Greater Salina Community Foundation and its affiliate foundations, including the Smith County Community Foundation. Award Details: Grants will be awarded to projects or programs that address various areas such as education, health care, community social services & security, conservation & environment, arts & culture, and community beautification. Preference will be given to applications that include community involvement and volunteerism. Grants cannot be used for regular budgetary needs or endowment/operational expenses. Eligibility: Organizations of all types across the USA, including nonprofits, startups, researchers, local governments, and small businesses are eligible to apply for these grants.
