Parker Grant

The Parker Foundation offers grants to support projects beneficial to San Diego County. Applicants must submit a cover page, a three-page project description detailing the amount requested, intended use, benefit to San Diego County, measurable outcomes, and partnerships with other organizations. Additionally, applicants must include a current organizational budget, a detailed project budget, recent financial reports, a balance sheet, an income statement, a list of the Board of Directors, and verification of 501(c)(3) status and state tax exemption. Grant proposals are reviewed and decided upon by the Board of Directors, usually within 60 days. Deadlines for submissions are posted on the Foundation's website. Applicants who have previously received a grant must wait two years before reapplying, while those whose proposals were denied must wait one year before resubmitting. Proposals must be sent electronically, as personal deliveries are not accepted.
