Grant Description

The Denver Business Journal is accepting nominations for its 2025 Most Admired CEO Awards, which aim to highlight the contributions of outstanding chief executives within the Denver metropolitan area. This prestigious recognition honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, community engagement, and business success. Nominations are open to CEOs and those holding equivalent titles, such as owner, executive director, president, or managing principal, across for-profit and nonprofit organizations with a physical and significant presence in Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, and Jefferson counties. Eligible nominees must have served in their current role for at least 12 months and must be prepared to participate in the Denver Business Journal interview and awards presentation process. Self-nominations are encouraged, and winners must agree to attend the celebratory awards dinner scheduled for November 13, 2025, where they will be officially honored. Winners will also be featured in a special section of the November 14, 2025, edition of the Denver Business Journal. Submissions must be made through the Denver Business Journal website, where nominees will be asked to answer a series of character-limited questions designed to highlight the nominee's leadership, contributions to company success, and community involvement. Answers should be concise, impactful, and quantifiable where possible, focusing on achievements rather than general praise. No additional benefit is given for multiple nominations; quality of information is prioritized over quantity. The judging process evaluates nominees based on leadership, organizational contributions, and community impact, with an independent editorial review team selecting the winners. Judges may include Denver Business Journal leadership and outside community leaders, but final selections rest with the editorial leadership. Nominations close strictly at 11 p.m. on Monday, June 23, 2025, with no extensions. For further inquiries about the nomination process, Events Director Denise Jendrusch can be contacted at djendrusch@bizjournals.com or (303) 803-9280.
