FAIME Award Nominations

The Loudoun County Disability Services Board is currently accepting nominations for the 2025 Full Accessibility and Inclusion: Moving toward Equity (FAIME) Awards. These awards are designed to honor organizations and businesses within Loudoun County, Virginia that demonstrate exceptional commitment to recruiting, hiring, and training individuals with disabilities. The program recognizes efforts that create inclusive workplaces and promote equity in employment practices. FAIME Awards are open to both for-profit and nonprofit entities located in Loudoun County. However, government agencies and nonprofit organizations whose core mission involves providing services to individuals with disabilities are not eligible to apply. Organizations may nominate themselves for the award. There are no monetary prizes mentioned for the FAIME Awards. Instead, they serve as a formal recognition of inclusive employment practices and workplace diversity. The application process requires submission through an online nomination form, and the final date for nominations is June 27, 2025. Winners of the FAIME Awards will be notified in July 2025. An awards reception will follow in October to coincide with National Disability Employment Awareness Month. This schedule reflects the recurring nature of the awards, which have been held in previous years during the same period.
