Grant Description

The Community Collaborative Research Grant (CCRG) program, supported by North Carolina Sea Grant, the state’s Water Resources Research Institute (WRRI), and the William R. Kenan Jr. Institute for Engineering, Technology, and Science (KIETS), funds collaborative research projects that integrate local knowledge and scientific expertise. Proposals should align with the strategic goals of WRRI, NC Sea Grant, and KIETS, and involve a local knowledge expert and a scientific lead. Funding is available for one-year projects with awards ranging from $5,000 to $25,000.
