Inasmuch Foundation Grant

Inasmuch Foundation offers funding through an open request cycle held each spring and fall, supporting projects across Community Enhancement, Education, Human Services, and Journalism. The Foundation focuses on refining its funding priorities, and organizations should review the website carefully to align their proposals with updated areas of interest, which vary by focus area. Notably, the summer cycle is by invitation only. Organizations may only submit one grant request and one sponsorship request per 12-month period. Applications must be submitted via the Foundation's online grants portal, with the deadline for the fall cycle being 5 p.m. CST on August 15. If the deadline falls on a weekend or national holiday, it is extended to the next business day. Funding decisions are communicated in May and November. The Foundation supports General Operating Support grants at two levels: $50,000 and $100,000. The level awarded is based on alignment with funding priorities, organizational size and stability, and staff discretion. Only organizations with annual operating budgets over $1,000,000 may receive $100,000, and journalism applicants should apply for $50,000. These grants are available for up to five consecutive years, after which a one-year hiatus is mandatory. For one-time, transformational projects, applicants can request funding with no standardized amount, but are encouraged to speak with a program officer prior to applying. Capital campaign requests will not be accepted in 2025. Sponsorship requests must be submitted through the grants portal and at least three months before the event. Eligibility is limited to nonprofit organizations. While all areas must adhere to geographic restrictions within Oklahoma, journalism projects may have different geographic requirements.
