The Beckley Area Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the annual Wyoming County Community Grant Program for the 2024-2025 cycle. Donor Name: Beckley Area Foundation State: West Virginia County: Wyoming County (WV) Type of Grant: Grant Deadline: 10/01/2024 Size of the Grant: $1000 to $10,000 Grant Duration: Less than 1 Year Details: This grant program is dedicated to supporting charitable initiatives across Wyoming County in the areas of arts, education, civic beautification, public recreation, health, and human services. Priority Considerations Addressing significant community needs or implementing creative solutions. Serving a large number of residents or underserved groups. Capital projects or equipment needs. Encouraging collaboration and leveraging additional funding. Addressing sudden or urgent needs that could not have been anticipated. Funding Information Maximum Request: Up to $3,000. Funding Period Grants must support projects occurring between November 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. Eligibility Criteria Non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status, public institutions, schools, or municipalities. A valid IRS determination letter is required to verify 501(c)(3) status. Geographic Focus: Projects must be located in Wyoming County, although the applicant organization can be based elsewhere. Project Exclusions Projects outside the specified grant period.
