The Wounded War Veterans Grant Program for Fiscal Year 2025 is accepting applications from March 3, 2025, through May 15, 2025. This grant program aims to provide funding for programs that directly serve the needs of wounded war veterans in Southwest Missouri. Funding may support the purchase of equipment, the development of programming, or the provision of training that benefits these veterans. Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations with 501(c)3 status, government entities, school districts, or tax-exempt faith-based organizations. Applicants must be based in Southwest Missouri and provide programs and services that directly benefit wounded war veterans. A single grant award of $2,500 will be provided to one selected agency in the summer of 2025. The Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) administers this grant program and applies a strict nondiscrimination policy in its grantmaking. No applicant will be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status. Additionally, all grantees must ensure that they do not engage in discriminatory employment practices or restrict access to their programs and services based on these factors. Applications must be submitted through the CFOโ€™s online grant application system no later than 11:45 p.m. on May 15, 2025. Applicants should be aware that the system applies a character count to all responses, with all letters, numbers, spaces, and punctuation contributing to the count.
