Fund for the Future

The Fund for the Future grants are combined with the Elk County Development Fund grants and share similar criteria. These grants support community development initiatives aimed at enhancing the economic and community wellbeing of Elk County. Organizations that serve the broader needs of the community and have innovative, sustainable plans are encouraged to apply. Applications are reviewed together, with funding allocated based on the combined criteria of both funds. Applications are due January 15 and July 15, with a review period of 4 to 6 weeks. Award amounts average between $2,000 and $3,000 but can reach up to $10,000. Applications must be submitted through the Elk County Development Fund section, and separate applications for the two funds are not accepted.
