Tennessee Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP)
This funding provides resources to state, local, tribal, and territorial agencies to enhance their capabilities in preventing and responding to terrorism and other major threats to national security.
The HSGP funding supports state, local, tribal, and territorial efforts to prevent terrorism and other catastrophic events and to prepare the Nation for the threats and hazards that pose the greatest risk to the security of the United States. The Homeland Security Grant includes a suite of risk-based grants to assist state, local, tribal and territorial efforts in preventing, protecting against, mitigating, responding to and recovering from acts of terrorism and other threats. This grant provides grantees with the resources required for implementation of the National Preparedness System and working toward the National Preparedness Goal of a secure and resilient nation.
