2025-2026 Community Arts Grant

The Community Arts Grant Program, managed by Scottsdale Arts and funded by the City of Scottsdale, provides financial support to nonprofit arts and culture organizations to foster community engagement and growth in Scottsdale's cultural scene. Scottsdale Arts operates as the administrator of this grant program with the goal of enhancing visual, literary, and performing arts within the city and its surrounding communities. The grant aims to fund a variety of projects and operational needs that align with artistic and cultural enhancement. It supports organizations that produce performances, events, and cultural programs, as well as those seeking general operational support. Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with a mission that includes arts or cultural enrichment and have at least a three-year programming history. Project Grant applicants may be based outside of Scottsdale but must implement their programs within the city. General Operating Grant applicants must have their primary place of business physically located within Scottsdale. Grant funds must be used for activities occurring between September 1, 2025, and July 31, 2026, and a final report is required within 90 days of project completion or by July 31, 2026. The next application cycle opens June 2, 2025, and closes July 14, 2025. Applications are not accepted on a rolling basis. The grant program is expected to recur annually, with the next likely cycle in June 2026. There are no matching fund requirements. Applicants should be prepared to provide a complete budget and a report on fund expenditures. Applications are expected to take 6 to 10 hours to complete thoroughly.
