Park River Area Community Endowment Fund

The Park River Area Community Endowment Fund Grant is administered by the North Dakota Community Foundation (NDCF), a nonprofit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting charitable initiatives throughout North Dakota. Established in 1983, the Park River Area Community Endowment Fund was created to provide grant funding for projects that benefit the Park River area community. This grant supports community projects and aims to strengthen local initiatives by providing financial assistance where it can make a significant impact. Emphasis is placed on projects that allow the fund to act as a partner and help attract additional resources. Low priority is given to requests for operational funding. The fund seeks to catalyze sustainable community development through its strategic support of qualifying organizations. Eligible applicants must be nonprofit organizations with a valid 501(c)(3) status or have an official relationship with a local government entity such as a school or park district. The opportunity is specifically limited to initiatives that serve the Park River area in North Dakota, and not available to organizations or projects outside this geographic scope. Applications are accepted annually from April 1 to June 15. Interested applicants must review the eligibility guidelines and register on the NDCF’s Grants Portal using their organization’s name, EIN, and executive officer information. Upon registration, applicants can access the relevant grant program by clicking “Apply.” They are able to save their application and return to complete it before the closing date. The system allows users to navigate through each section of the application process efficiently. Projects with broader community partnerships and resource leveraging are encouraged and will be prioritized. Priority is given to projects where PRACEF can be a funding partner to attract other resources. Operational expenses are deprioritized.
