Grant Description

The United Way of Mesa County (UWMC) Community Impact Fund supports local health and human service programs in Mesa County that address critical community needs. The fund provides one-year grants to nonprofit organizations working in the areas of fostering healthy communities, financial security, and youth opportunity. Funding decisions are guided by community volunteers who serve on allocation panels, review applications, and conduct virtual site visits to determine the most effective and impactful programs. For FY 2025, grants will be paid quarterly starting July 1, 2025, and will support organizations that are part of the UWMC Community Partner Program. The Community Partner Program offers additional benefits, such as learning opportunities, marketing support, and eligibility to apply for future Community Impact Fund grants. Partners must meet specific requirements, including nonprofit status, alignment with UWMC focus areas, and participation in community initiatives. The FY 2025 eligibility deadline for the Community Partner Program has passed, but interested organizations can inquire about joining for future opportunities.
