The Riverside Small & Micro Business Grant Program is designed to support local small business resiliency with grant awards of up to $25,000 for qualified businesses. The goal of the City of Riverside Small & Micro Business Grant Program is to address not only continuing pandemic recovery needs, but, as provided for in the Department of Treasury State & Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF), it is intended to support long-term resiliency and growth of local small businesses, promote access to valuable partner resources, and reduce the barriers to success faced by small businesses in disadvantaged communities. Eligibility Criteria  Program eligibility criteria includes, but is not limited to the below: Business consists of under 50 Employees Business is located within Riverside city limits Annual Gross Revenue is $10,000 – $2,500,000 Business is small and/or home-based business Able to demonstrate COVID financial impact Business is active with valid business license Business in Operation Prior to 01/01/23. Riverside Small & Micro Business Grant Program The Riverside Small & Micro Business Grant Program is designed to support local small business resiliency with grant awards of up to $25,000 for qualified businesses. In addition to direct financial support, all applicants will have the opportunity to participate in a FREE one-on-one Strategic Planning Consultation to identify opportunities for improvement and build customized strategies to increase financial stability, long-term sustainability, and capacity for success. Phase 1 – Incubate Competitors will propose solutions that substantially increase the amount of recovered critical materials from e-scrap used in U.S. manufacturing. Up to 10 winners will receive $50,000 in cash and $30,000 in national laboratory analysis support. Phase 2 – Prototype Competitors will prototype their innovation and begin collecting and/or generating data that can be used to optimize technoeconomic strategy and life cycle impacts between partners along the recycling value chain. Winners will receive $150,000 in cash and $120,000 in national laboratory analysis support. Phase 3 – Demonstrate Competitors will begin implementing their innovations and propose their plans to scale their solution. Phase 3 winners will receive $600,000 in cash.
