Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant

The Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program provides funding for energy audits and government energy efficiency building upgrades. The funding is available to eligible municipalities and counties based on Blueprints developed by the U.S. Department of Energy (USDOE). The Fourth Round of funding is now open, with grant awards ranging from $50,000 to $250,000. The application process is merit-based, and projects must address at least one key activity in the USDOE Blueprint. The project period will end approximately in June 2026.
