The State of Texas, through the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), announces the availability of state funding for the Grants to Increase Local Dementia Support (GILDS) program. The grant aims to provide support to persons with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD), their caregivers, and promote early detection and diagnosis. Eligible applicants include governmental entities, non-governmental entities, not-for-profit organizations, for-profit entities, and associations, but not individuals.
