Career Technical Education in California

The Gilroy Foundation's 2025 Competitive Grant Cycle is now open to nonprofits serving South Santa Clara County, specifically the Gilroy area, including San Martin and Morgan Hill. With grants ranging from $500 to $5,000, the foundation seeks to support projects that drive positive impact across several key areas, including Agriculture, Artistic Enrichment, Civic Services, Culture, Education, Environment, Health, Recreation, and Technology. The application deadline is December 13, 2024, at 12:00 AM, and grantee announcements are expected in March 2025. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations or have a fiscal sponsor with this designation. They must provide services in South Santa Clara County and cannot discriminate based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics. Faith-based organizations may apply if their proposed project addresses community needs without regard to religious affiliation. The foundation does not fund capital improvements, budget deficits, fundraising events, pre-existing campaigns, or funding gaps due to unexpected organizational issues.
