Educational Enhancement Mini Grant
This funding opportunity supports teachers and staff in Manchester and Amherst public schools to implement innovative projects that enrich classroom learning, introduce new extracurricular activities, or promote health and wellness in school settings.
The Educational Enhancement Mini Grant supports innovative projects that enhance classroom curriculum, introduce new co-curricular opportunities, or address health and wellness within school environments. These grants, with a maximum award of $750, are available to teachers and staff within the Manchester and Amherst public schools, including the 21st Century After School Program. The grants aim to enrich curriculum and support enrichment programs. Eligible projects must benefit an entire class or select students equitably, directly relate to the curriculum or approved school activities, and adhere to school policies. Notably, funds cannot be used for regular curriculum textbooks or materials, and field trip transportation costs are not covered. Recipients are required to submit a one-page final report by July 15 following the grant receipt, with future grants contingent on timely report submission. Each teacher or staff member is eligible for one award per year, with a limit of three grants per Manchester school and up to three requests annually for the Amherst School District.
