City of Arcadia ARPA Small Business Permit Assistance Program provides up to $5,000 in funding for small businesses in California to cover Planning Application fees and/or Building Permit fees when opening a new business, expanding a current business, or making physical improvements to their existing place of business. Eligible businesses must be independently owned and operated, have no more than 25 full-time equivalent employees, and be located within the city limits of Arcadia at a commercial or mixed-use zoned property with a bona fide ground-floor commercial storefront. National or regional chains with three or more locations that are not locally franchised, businesses located in residential zones, and certain types of businesses such as adult entertainment or pawn shops are excluded from eligibility.
