Additional Information on Eligibility Eligible applicants may be Qualified Fair Housing Enforcement Organizations (QFHOs) and Fair Housing Enforcement Organizations (FHOs), public or private not-for-profit organizations or institutions representing groups of persons protected under Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, and other public or private entities that are formulating or carrying out programs to Page 12 of 56 prevent or eliminate discriminatory housing practices; agencies of State or local governments certified by the Secretary under section 810(f) of the Fair Housing Act; and agencies that participate in the Fair Housing Assistance Program (FHAP). All applicants are required to complete Appendix B, EOI Eligibility Certification and submit it as a part of their application. An applicant's failure to meet an eligibility criterion by the application deadline will disqualify it. Applicants may be required to verify 501(c)(3) status in accordance with 24 CFR 5.109(l). An applicant that is selected for and receives an award under this EOI-TCT NOFO is not eligible to receive an award under the FY2024 EOI-National Media Campaing (NMC) component.
