Greater Pulaski Community Endowment Fund
This grant provides financial support to nonprofit organizations and public entities serving the residents of Pulaski and the Town of Richland, focusing on innovative projects that enhance community life in areas such as arts, education, health, and civic affairs.
The Greater Pulaski Community Endowment Fund, a component of the Central New York Community Foundation, is currently accepting applications for its 2025 grant cycle. This annual grant opportunity is designed to support nonprofit organizations that serve residents of Pulaski and the Town of Richland in New York State. The Fund aims to foster innovative and impactful projects in a variety of fields, including arts and culture, civic affairs, education, health, human services, and the environment. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofits, publicly supported organizations such as municipalities and schools, and organizations operating with a qualified fiscal sponsor. Preference is given to organizations that have successfully completed any past projects funded by the Pulaski Fund. Applicants may request up to $10,000, and only one grant round is held per year. The deadline to apply is May 16, 2025. Applications and supporting documents must be submitted through the Foundation’s online application portal. The advisory committee prioritizes capacity-building and new projects over continued funding of existing programs. Successful proposals should present practical solutions to community challenges, promote inter-agency collaboration, avoid service duplication, and foster both professional and volunteer community engagement. Programs that focus on prevention and long-term benefit will be favored over reactive approaches. Certain activities are not eligible for funding, including previously funded programs seeking recurring support, general operating budgets (unless designated as seed or bridge funding), endowments, religious purposes, individual assistance, retrospective funding, and most types of research. Organizations without 501(c)(3) status may still apply with the support of a qualified fiscal sponsor. In these cases, additional documentation is required, including the sponsor’s IRS letter of determination, recent financials, board list, and a letter of support. Grant notifications will be sent approximately eight weeks after the submission deadline. Funded organizations are encouraged to share project outcomes, photos, and testimonials. If an applicant has received previous funding, supplemental reporting may be requested before new proposals are considered. For questions or assistance, applicants may contact the grant team at PulaskiGrants@cnycf.org or call 315-422-9538.
