FY24 Clean Energy Workforce Development Program
This program provides funding to nonprofit organizations and small businesses in Michigan to enhance training and education for the clean energy workforce while improving access to support services for participants.
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) offers the Clean Energy Workforce Development Program to support education and training for the clean energy workforce. This program addresses gaps in Michigan’s advanced energy workforce development training for both participants and employers. It also aims to increase access to wrap-around services for training participants and maintain relationships with educational institutions at all levels. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, 501(c)(6) organizations, and small businesses located in Michigan. Grants range from $5,000 to $450,000, with a total of $1,000,000 available. Applications open on June 10, 2024, and will be accepted until July 30, 2025.
